Announcing our 2020 Volunteer Awards Winners
Today, the Caledonia Conservancy preserves and protects nearly 40 acres of hiking and equestrian trails, and 300+ acres of greenspace within Caledonia. And this is accomplished - in large part - because of our volunteers. Over the last 25+ years, hundreds of volunteers have contributed thousands of hours (and dollars) to the mission of the Caledonia Conservancy. And we are grateful.
The Caledonia Conservancy annual awards program is a formal and public way for us to recognize the businesses and individuals who standout in their contributions to the Conservancy.

Horses and Trails of Caledonia
The Horses and Trails of Caledonia wall calendar is back for 2021 and we had overwhelming response to our request for photos highlighting the Caledonia Conservancy and its horses, trails and people. In fact, we had so many submissions - we couldn't fit them all in! Thank you to everyone who submitted photos - here are the ones we couldn't include.

Left: The Caledonia Conservancy was recently featured on the CBS58 morning television program "Racine and Me. Sandy DeWalt, Stewardship Chair and longtime CC supporter and volunteer, was interviewed at Kings Corners by on-air personality Meghan Reistad.
In the opening 4-minute segment of the show, Sandy highlighted the history of the Conservancy and many of the great events, activities and lands available for the public to enjoy.
Center: In 2018, Caledonia and Wind Point were featured in the PBS segment "Around the Corner with John McGivern". Have you seen this episode? Caledonia Conservancy was highlighted along with many of other hidden jewels in the area.
Right: Get outside and enjoy the New Year! The Caledonia Conservancy was again featured on the CBS58 morning television show, "Racine and Me". In this early January episode, Kim Hoover, longtime volunteer and horse-woman extraordinaire highlighted the Conservancy and all that the lands have to offer in the winter months. The trails are open all-year long and Mother Nature looks quite different in EACH of the four seasons. Now is a great time to dress warm, get outside and explore via horseback or walking/hiking. And many of the trails are ideal for either snow shoes or cross-country skiing.
