The Caledonia Conservancy’s (CC) Mane Event ride on Saturday, June 23rd is cancelled due to the poor condition of the trails and parking area caused by this week’s rain. The entry form included information about cancelling due to weather conditions and not refunding entry fees. Anyone who pre-registered will get a letter sent to them from the CC acknowledging that their entry fee is now considered a donation to the Caledonia Conservancy which is a 501(c)3 and as such their donation is tax deductible. If a T-shirt was purchased it will be mailed to them.
We are sorry to cancel the ride and hope that people understand that the committee took the time to look at the trail conditions before making this decision. If you know of anyone who was planning on attending the Mane Event ride, please contact them with this information.
